The Hi Power painstakingly replicates the classic gear that shaped Pink Floyd’s classic Wish You Were Here album.

On the right side, you will find a recreation of the Colorsound Power Boost, featuring true-to-the-original BC184 transistors running at 18V and an ultra-flexible 2-band Baxandall EQ circuit.

Crazy Tube Circuits added extra features, like a Master volume control, a reverse-log Gain control (to ensure better transition from clean to mean) and a toggle switch that engages a higher gain mode.

On the left side of the Hi Power, you will find an all-analog circuit set to emulate the sound and feel of a Hiwatt amplifier.

Following the path of the famed British amplifier, the circuit offers authentic amp tone and feel. From the big bold high-headroom clean sounds to the face-melting crunchy tones!

A Headroom toggle switch selects between the high headroom 100W power section provided by a quartet of EL34s, or the lower headroom provided by a 50W power section with a pair of EL34s.

Similar in operation to the original amp design, the Master volume control was designed to produce more gain at higher settings.

Crazy Tube Circuits took the design a step further by adding a switch to select between input channels.

You can select between the full frequency response of the Normal channel, the increased presence and tight low end of the Bright channel input or the enhanced frequency response and added gain of those inputs linked together!

The pedal also features an FX loop to connect pedals between the two sections or use them as independent effects with a switcher.

Crazy Tube Circuits Hi Power Overdrive Pedal features:

• Replicates David Gilmour’s Hiwatt amp and Colorsound pedal combination.

• Right side faithfully reproduces the classic Colorsound Power Booster.

• Packs true-to-the-original BC184 transistors and a flexible 2-band Baxandall EQ circuit.

• Left side packs classic Hiwatt amplifier tones.

• Headroom switch selects between a high headroom 100W mode, or a more compressed 50W mode.

• Connect other pedals between the two sections via the FX Loop.

• Runs internally at 18V DC for increased headroom and tube-like performance.

• Power: 9V DC.

• Current Draw: 100mA

Dogs love it, but it lasted 10 minutes
Color: Blue Yellow, Pattern Name: Alligator
Five stars for the dogs both loving this thing. I have a Catahoula/pitbull and a Great Pyrenees/Red Heeler. They absolutely loved this toy but it only lasted about ten minutes before it was pulled apart and losing its innards. They didn’t really care - they each took half and proceeded to tear it to shreds with great joy. Two stars for durability, but since they’re big dogs who are happiest when chewing on things I figure the toy deserves to be rounded up from a three to a four. Small dogs probably would still love it without the strength to yank it apart so quickly.

Dogs both love it
Color: Blue, Pattern Name: Toucan
Dogs are obsessed with this, somehow has not been gutted yet. Long enough that they can both play with it. Neck not as stretchy as I envisioned but it’s fine.

Not worth the money
Color: Green, Pattern Name: Dinosaur
Thought it would be larger as it states LARGE-it was not- it is not interactive - also states that but it is not - so value for the money is not correct - not worth it
